I used to live on the border too - I miss good tamales

Back in October had some shipped to me for my sister’s birthday - they were better than I’ve had recently - and I totally effed up the ones I made

Watch the water you put when you steam them, it is possibly to make the masa mushy if you do.

Does anyone know where to get good Mexican tamales in Baton rouge? We usually meet the family in Texas and have them, but this year we’re staying here and would love to find some. Thanks all!
