IMHO Giant Limas made as you would Red Beans are sooooooo much better than standard RB&R it's not funny. I can't believe more people don't do it.
The only thing I find is that if you are doing more than one pack in the same pot, they can vary greatly in the amount of time required to cook, even if you soak them overnight...
In short, Giant Limas are the GOAT for a beans and rice dish.
