Last year it poured down rain for the first hour or so and was hot and humid after that

Probably. Cooked 2 years ago at Swamp Pop. Was out of town last year.

I hadn't seen this thread, but I cooked yesterday. It was a great time, but I'm burnt to hell today. How'd you do?
And for those interested in the swamp pop, I highly recommend it. I've cooked in it the last 2 years and will be this year also. It's my favorite of the cookoffs in the area.

I didn't stay for the finals. I was so sunburned and exhausted after they announced the 20 I bailed so I'm not sure who won.
