Here's a cookbook from a beloved Houma seafood market. Unfortunately, they're no longer in business.

Century-old seafood business closes for good













Apparently, Pea Jambalaya is a big thing in Houma.

Thanks for the post. However, you are stirring up the anti-tomato crowd with the jambalaya recipe.

Apparently some did - or maybe they thought they were being grammatically correct, you know like the yankees do it.

You know, Bayou Cajuns are much less persnickity about tomato product in jambalaya and other Cajun dishes.
