Anybody complaining about the price of a well made, ground in house burger needs a crash course in restaurant management.

For those saying, "My burger cost 15 bucks (with fires and a drink mind you)" my response to you is one of the reputable burger spots in town have a food cost on that burger of about $3-$4 (estimate). Add on insurance, wages, rent, and all the other bullshite of operating a business and I guarantee you are getting a good deal.

I'm late to this conversation but are At leats SOME of the burgers ingredients home made? From the bun to the pickles to ketchup? A restaurant in Jackson MS does this and the burger is probably one of the best I've ever had. I expect this from burgers in the $15 plus range. I've yet to have any of these burger joints in Nola, but need to try them.

Greater than $10 I want some creativity. Otherwise I'm happy with my own burgers.
