Colorado groceries can now sell full strength beer

'Bout damn time. Liquor stores don't like it. Claim they can't compete with big chain grocery stores. I think it will work itself out. No self respecting bottleshop in Portland will sell BMC. Those shops in Colorado will have to work harder to get the small batch beers that the big groceries don't get. That is where they will make their money. Too many liquor stores in Denver did not make any effort to get special local beers. They were content to sell BMC, Blue Moon, Corona, and the easy to get large craft brewery stuff, like Odell, Epic, and Oskar Blues.

I bought a sixer of Luponic Distortion in the grocery store the other night. I actually felt a little dirty. I hope this isn't bad news for the smaller stores, because we have some good ones.
