Collagen Casings

Has anyone used collagen casings for making sausage? Just wondering how it comes out and if it's drastically different. I've always used natural casings myself.

I've used them several times. They work fine.

Yes, I’ve used them for 20+ years. They work fine. It’s not drastically different, but there are differences, none of which I really think are negative. It all makes sausage in the end, just depends on what exactly you’re looking for. Try it out, that’s the best way to know.
