Hi folks.

I have two occasions this weeks where I am going to provide some coffee and a dessert.

I kind of want to do a pairing of different coffee flavors and desserts.

Any suggestions?!

Flavored coffee is crap.
Brew the freshest locally roasted you can find. Focus on desserts with flavors complemented by coffee....think chocolate, red fruits, caramel, cinnamon, cardamom, coconut.

Add cardamom to the coffee for flavor. Other flavors or welcome, but kind of have a meh chemical taste.

Tiramisu is always popular as is just a really simple pound cake, lemon is popular.

Can always go with ginger cookies or look at doing a tea service rather than coffee for one setting.

Agreed

Additionally bananas go surprisingly well with coffee so I'd add that in also

A tiramisu is a great idea.

I'm not a big coffee drinker, so I'll take others advice and just bring some regular coffee.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Nut- based desserts like pecan pie or almond tart are great with dark roast coffee
