If you’ve had their mushroom and onions how would you replicate?

Caramelize the onions in butter
Add mushrooms
Salt
Simmer

How would you replicate?
Am I missing something ?

Never been but i cook that sometimes based on your ingredients

Lowww and slowww is the key i think. Dont cut the onions too small.
Start covered then uncover to let some water out. Maybe 20 minutes covered to get it all cooking then uncover for 45-60 min. Maybe small amount of soy or Worcestershire.

Add garlic powder.

Did exactly that as you described minus the Worcestershire and man, it’s really close.

Excellent combination and simple.

For whatever reason I don’t make this often but I should.

I should also mention, I used button mushrooms.

That shite's good son. On chicken breast. steak. hamburger.

Maybe even throw a lil swiss or provolone on top of that on top of chicken breast

You reading my mind, bruh hahahhaha

That’s money with some Swiss on a nice thick juicy burger.
Will be workin it in the regular rotation. Grilled steaks today so that’s why I wanted it.

If you ever hit up Chophouse, I highly recommend this as a side.
Mine is good but still not quite what I’ve had there and maybe it’s the Worcestershire I need to add.

Maybe deglaze the pan with a little cabernet.

Feel like i'm leading you astray. Use very little either soy or wursherster. The latter takes over very easily. But it's cooking. See what works.

I think both are ideas worth trying.

Even if not what I’m tryin to recreate, it’s still gonna be good enough hahahaha

Really enjoyed that today.
Actually, put some thin sliced flax seed bread on the pit too and after crunching up , topped with some of
the mushroom and onions and some Swiss...may have been better than the steaks and wings hahhahaha

I've never had their mushrooms, but I cook mushrooms and onions all the time and I prefer them with some fresh herbs. Pick your favorites and add them in the last 5 min of cooking.
