I'm not seeing anything in the news yet about what I'm guessing was a fire at Charley G's in Lafayette but just before 9pm Monday night, there were about six firefighting units in the parking lot and a whole bunch of people standing outside the restaurant, although there was no visible smoke. Someone in the know said they're going to "try" to open again Thursday morning, so it sounds minor, although the scene was chaos galore. Not sure of the extent of the damage but someone is going to have the undesirable job of cleaning up any mess on Mardi Gras.

I've always had great food there and Chef Holly is doing one hell of a job. I hope everything is ok.

We ate there early before the ball. When we came back to my truck around midnight it all looked normal.

Ha. I needed to catch it on fire to cook my steak correctly.

Tony Soprano got wind there was going to be a mob hit in the joint and gave the job of torching it to Christopher, but he was so coked up he screwed it up.

You know that was Silvio Dante that burned down Vesuvio.

Yeah, but Christopher needed to atone for his failure as an earner due to his ongoing drug habit and flubbed his lines once again.

That's why Tony smothered him after the wreck----cut his losses and make it look like an accident.
