I like poboys at Sammys better anyway. I'd rather drive 2 miles further to Denham and hit up Rotolos over Dengelos though. I'm a calzone guy and Rotolos tops Deangelos hands down. Deangelos wins on the salads though but I don't go for that.

deangelo's is struggling BAD over here on coursey blvd. ... the parking lot is maybe 1/3 full during normally busy dinner hours now ... i went in to pick up food at 6:30 a couple of fridays ago and it was dead in there .. they have just gotten way way too expensive ...

Pizza was good, ours in central LC burned, they rebuilt then sold it, its Artisan Bistro now. Went to the new one after it opened back up and they stopped doing the large pizza. Those were the best cheese pizzas, the small one just doest have the right ratio of crust to size of pizza. Know what I mean???
