I freeze them with water in the quart freezer bags . They will hold up for a couple of years . I date them and rotate them .

Yep. Ss long as they were frozen in water and not left hidden at the bottom of a chest freezer for a decade, they're good.

Freeze in ziplock bags in water and they're good for a couple or three years.
