I was taking an inventory of my cast iron today and came across this one that I forgot I had. No markings anywhere on the pot. Anyone have an idea who the manufacturer could be?

It appears to be a part of a combo pot patented by Blankenship. It consisted of a lid that sat on top of the piece you have(a chicken fryer)forming a lid and doubling as a skillet. The 'chicken fryer' sat into a larger deeper pot. There were two other lids that had loop handles. So 5 pieces total. If memory serves me it is unknown who (foundry) actually made them. Only that a guy named Edward W. Blankenship patented it. Ca. 1940

Yep, that’s it, although I don’t have the combo just the pot and lid. Thanks man.

Notice the thick rim around the OP's piece. (last photo) Not present on your link of a modern lodge.

Yes. The ridge is on TOP. BSR on bottom of handle.
