I have 8 pounds of royal reds and wondering if i can Boil them? If so, how?

Steaming them keeps them tender and easy to peel. Dip in lemon butter like lobster.
If you boil them, I wouldn't use much salt, they are already pretty salty on their own.

Boil in batches, and have a separate pot with ice water. As soon as the shrimp float, use a slotted scoop to transfer them to the ice water. Let the hot pot get back to a boil before adding the next batch.

Do you still wait for the air bubble to show up inside the shell before taking them out of the boil?
