Cafe du Monde coffee and chicory question...

I just bought a can and am wondering how many tablespoons of the coffee I should use for a pot. I have heard that it is very stong and to use about half of what I would for folgers of maxell. Also, I have also heard that it has less caffeine that other coffees. is this true?

I don't measure coffee by the tablespoons. I used the one cup grounds to one cup water ratio before I switched to Starbucks espresso.

I just had some this morning, love this stuff! I use 3 coffee scoops per 10 cups of water. And I just read the fine print on the scoop that said it was 1/8 of a cup or standard coffee measure and btw, hair has not grown on my chest
