Very good BBQ. They’re popular in the Florida panhandle and they do a great job with their overall menu.

I was in the area a few months ago, so I stopped at the Sonny's on Florida near Flannery.
I was really impressed with the food, and they've remodeled and cleaned the place up.

We eat at the Sonny's in Clinton. OK food. Nice sit down area.
They are in front of the Home Depot and the smell covers the HD lot every time I go there to buy a 2X4.

I never realized how many locations they had. They're all over Central Florida. (don't know why LA doesn't show on this map)
Surprised they don't have one in Gatlinburg. That would be a hit with vacationers from Louisiana.

The last couple of times ive gotten brisket, its been dry. Their mild sauce is king over most BBQ sauces. Their ribs are the best in town. Redneck Eggrolls are bomb. Fried Okra is bomb. Corn Nuggets are bomb.
Overall tho, Sonny's is great.

It's great for chain BBQ but Hannah Q's is better IMO.

Their pulled pork or chicken sandwich, drizzled with their BBQ sauce, on Texas Toast, is one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten.
