Anyone have any experience with this place? Looking for some different places to try for our upcoming vacation, and this one popped up in my search.

I’ve wondered about this place, but have never heard anything. I’m skeptical of “steamer” in the name, sometimes that’s a red flag.

That's kind of why I was asking if anyone had been.

We went before Covid and had a great meal at least 2 times. It was quickly becoming one of our favorite Destin places.

The last time we went was during Covid. Either a few restaurants were just starting to open up or more people were starting to travel. We made reservations and showed up early. It took well past an hour after our reservation time to get seated. The place was packed with reservations and walk ins. They had even set up an outdoor tent to serve people. Bottom line is it was too many customers and too few staff to keep up.

I'm not knocking them for that. Crazy times and they were doing their best. It just wasn't a good meal overall. But it's been awhile and hopefully things got back to some sort of normal where we had a couple of really nice meals. We typically don't eat out in Destin much anymore. After drinking and hanging out on the beach all day we usually just DoorDash something and maybe go out to eat just once per trip. I would definitely give it another shot.

I will say our favorite restaurant in Destin is Mimmo's. It's an Italian restaurant and Mimmo is there every time we've been. We always go here once per trip. It's just simple and really good Italian food. Also very popular so get a reservation.
