I’ll be in Grant’s Pass for a week in early May and am curious if anyone has recommendations for places to visit in the general area. I’m already going to a winery that my company represents, but don’t know of any breweries. TIA

I don't know of any great ones down that far south. I've had good beers from Caldera in Ashland and Arch Rock in Gold Beach.
Ashland has a Shakespeare Festival going on that's pretty famous. If you want to drive to the coast, I would recommend hitting up Arch Rock in Gold Beach, and that whole coast between Gold Beach is spectacular. If you like Golf, you can't hardly beat the courses in Bandon. The Bandon waterfront is a little town that has great character.
If you don't mind a little driving, I'd drive to Bandon and find a restaurant on the waterfront and watch the sunset. Check out Face Rock for some pictures, and then Face Rock Creamery for ice cream and cheese.
Old Oregon coastal towns are pretty rugged. Gorgeous scenery, but the buildings are more utilitarian, than fancy.

Not sure how far south you are looking, but the Umpqua valley (west of Crater Lake) was good. I was a wine club member of Reustle Prayer Rock Vinyards until they quit shipping to La. They and most of the area wineries specialize in Rhone style grapes/blends.
