I didn't go, but I like the boudin from the guy that won the last 2 years, Boudin by Jamison.

I've bought about a hundred pounds since I found out about it about 6 months ago.

This is from their FB page:

It was a great day!

We took 3rd in Best Traditional Boudin (Johnson's took first) and we grabbed 2nd place in the People's Choice category. (T-Jim's from Cotton port took first this year) We are proud

We went, the boudin ball from Main Street grub and pub was the best thing I ate there.

Bacon wrapped boudin ball, fried, and covered in a homemade pepper jelly sauce. Went back for seconds.

Yep there's something different about it. I didnt care for it personally, but it definitely stood out.

I went and sampled 10 different vendors. The smoked, blood boudin from T-Jim’s was incredible, definitely my favorite. Because it was “blood” boudin, I’m sure many didn’t try it

I agree. I’ve gone a few times in the past and T-Jim’s is the one who always stood out. The years I went they never won anything but I see they finally won the People’s Choice. Their regular smoked and red (blood) smoked are both excellent.

I love Jameson’s. Got to meet him in old Metairie a few weeks ago and discussed my favorite boudin Market Basket. He said he’d never tried it...while it’s not going to win any awards, it’s an A+ rating and is my favorite because it’s what I grew up on. Very ricey

Wish we would have gone. Went to lafayette to visit some friends and watch the game. The 230 kickoff screwed up our plans.

Maybe next year, got some stuff chickens and boudin from Heberts though.

Boudin from Hebert's is nothing special. You can do better without trying to hard.
