Boiling Lobster

Anyone has a recipe or tips for boiling lobsters? Looking at 1-1 1/4lb lobsters. Planning to boil with fixings too.

They don't really soak up the seasoning, I prefer to split them and grill with butter...

I add very little seasoning because I like the taste of the meat. Boil(once it is rolling) 5-7 minutes depending on size. Some people use a fork to punch holes in the underside of the tail.

grilled, steamed, boiled in that order as far as taste.

Does the vein come out in one piece when you boil them?
