Had some a couple of nights ago and I came away pretty damned impressed.
A bit on the sweet side, but smooth as hell.
Anybody have more insight on it as far as availability, price, etc.?
I’ve googled but it doesn’t really indicate rarity and price gouging and such.....ala Blantons, Pappy, etc

I can find it online at several sites. Its about $50 and while its blended and bottled at the old Stitzel-Weller distillery and supposedly uses some old Stitzel-Weller in every barrel using a solera method, the fact its owned by a huge multi-national corporate distiller leads me to believe they are not distilling on-site but using bourbon distilled at one of their big factories and then blending it on site.

I love this stuff. It is my go to bourbon for drinking neat. Had it for the first time at my Kentucky brother-in-law’s bachelor party. My wife bought it for me as a gift two years ago for $85. I have been able to find it locally at Rouses and Martins Wine Cellar $45-50 a bottle.
