Do they have a bar to sit and eat at?

Lafayette' s strong game is lunch. Dinner, not so much. For my birthday, I'd want to go to Pamplona or Ruth's. Charley G's, Marcello's & Cafe Vermillionville would be runner-ups. Not a fan of Ruffino's, I'Monelli or Social.

Why is that about dinner lacking?

There's only 5 or so restaurants in Lafayette that I keep in my rotation for dinner. Lunch, maybe more than 20.
Why is dinner lacking? For one, I find a lot of the nicer restaurants following dated fads. Also, unimaginative, lazy food. Indifferent, at times inept service. Grocery store wine lists. And they still charge top dollar for a sub-par dining experience. Your miles may vary.
