There's something about the looks of this place, that I'd almost expect to see Tony Montana and his chicos sitting at that table.

Or Don Johnson.

Dasheene, Ladera Resort, St. Lucia. Built onto a cliff, and pretty spectacular.

ETA: And the food is pretty darn good too.

I was just about to post Ladera. Spectacular views and good food. We actually just had lunch there one day, were staying at a different resort. They let us tour their villas, though. The bathroom of the one we toured was fantastic. There were 3 walls. The fourth was basically open to the water (several stories up in the cliffs). The shower was the outermost part of the bathroom so you could close the shower curtain/door if you couldn't take it being completely open. You can't see into it from their beach or anything. Made me wish I was staying there.

I had my wedding reception there in '98. Stayed in a Villa. Fantastic place. No beach by the way. They are on a cliff.

There's a place in the mountains above Tegucigalpa, way up in the mountains, so you look down over the city. German food. No. really. Can't recall the name but it's good. The best part is eating out on a terrace, beautiful views of the mountains and the city below, and watching planes come into the airport, circle that mountain, and then either commit or pull up and go around again...
