Sammy's? Really?

For laid back casual? No doubt. Great boiled seafood. Decent fish specials for that atmosphere and price. Nothing mind blowing, but they definitely have decent blackened and grilled fish specials. Very good chargrilled crabs as well. I'd have no problem taking somebody there for seafood and a few of the cheapest draft beers at a restaurant in town.

Your posts are a waste of space. Never any thing of value, but I have a feeling you think you're being funny. I'd keep working on it

Dont go to Drusila.. Good hushpuppies.. HORRID at service. Food is so so.

Louisiana Lagniappe or Robertos are good
(go early if going to LL or you will wait)

Parrains is good for a little lower scale place

Le Creole or French Market Bistro are good.

Ruffinos has a couple of good seafood dishes.

Or late. I've enjoyed going to the wine loft or The Grape across the street for a glass or two of wine and an app and heading to LL about 8:30-9:00 and the wait has pretty much died down by that point.
