I know it's all subjective but I never found the one at short stop to be all that great.

My all-time favorite sliced roast beef po-boy was at Teddy's Grill on Franklin Ave. in Gentilly.
My grandparents lived off of Filmore Dr., and Teddy's was a regular treat when we came to visit. The standard order was the full roast beef loaf, a shrimp loaf and an oyster loaf. I'd get to eat about 4" of each type, and wash them down with a bottle of Barq's.

Bears is hands down the best poboy in the city. I did a thread on this years ago. Bears wins in every category from oyster to roast beef.
