I moved away, but when i return to BR for a game i always hit Juban's on Perkins, Mansur's on Corporate and sometimes Tsunami if i am downtown. The latter has a nice deck overlooking the river and you can walk back to your hotel. There is also a decent bar scene along Third st which you are well set up to walk to.

Downtown?

Not much really. Canes and mediocre pizza with terrible service at Schlitz.
