Staying at Hilton Riverside on Poydras for only 2 nights. Quick work trip & looking for my best meal in that area. Any recommendations?

TIA

CBD, warehouse, and quarter are all easily walkable from that hotel, which opens you up to a lot of good meal options.

Tommy's is a short walk off Tchop for really good italian.

Lots of good stuff close though. Domenica, August, Cochon, herbsaint, galatoires, etc.

If best is your criteria go to August.

If you could only have 1 meal in that area - which one? Couple, casual...

Thanks for all the ideas!

I'd probably do Seaworthy or Capdeville

But I don't think those two crack the top 10 of best restaurants

Compere Lapin if you want to post it on social media.

Actually I would probably try the new Auction House place now that I think about it.

As an outsider, I'd get an Uber or Lyft to La Petite Grocery or Atchafalya.

Those were our favorites when we visited.

I will have to go to Peche when I come back to New Orleans. Was not impressed the first and only time. But the reviews say I just got it wrong.

Enjoyed the food at NOLA more. It's casual.

For really casual, I loved Felix's too.
