I always get mine from Westbank Seafood in Marrero. You may want to call first to make sure they didnt sell out though

ETA: talking about live crawfish

One of my neighbors got a coupe sacks from Schaefer's in Bucktown just this past Saturday and paid $1.90 cash a lb. for them. They are selling Belle River Crawfish now and they are wild caught, a good bit tougher to peel than pond raised ones with their hard shells. Good size crawfish though.

If open, Capt Sid's or Schaeffer's in Bucktown.
Boiled or live.
In a pinch, Rouses boiled crawfish are pretty solid too. As well as Dorignac's.

No mean to offend, but I find Deanie's a little subpar. Edible and I wouldnt complain to them, but not the best.

Just for the hell of it, I tried to get in touch with Schaefer's and the phone rings off the hook. So, they may not even be open today.

Their number is 833-3973 in case you want to give them a try.
