best food city in louisiana.....

other than new orleans? and why? for me definitly lafayette. they have great cajun food, but also have a great variety of restaurants. lots of different ethnic restraurants, fine dining, etc. I would think they have more restaurants per capita in lafayette than any other city in louisiana perhaps in the nation..my wife read in some chamber of commerce literature that lafayette has over 500 restaurants...that is amazing for a town of this size..

The owners opened one in Baton Rouge too but it's not as good for some reason. The one in Baton Rouge is nice though.

I love that place, back in the day we would eat there and hit Jefferson Street Pub, and then go to 410 or Stan's....what a great place. Long live Lafayette!

id say laffy but houma and thibodeaux has some great seafood cajun and creole resturants.

yep g. you def. need to check it out...i have a thread about it on here.....the chef was one of the hottest chefs in l.a. ... he was personal chef to kiefer sutherland, quentin tarrantino and gwen stefani...
