Mayeaux’s is a good spot on front street. Small place but solid. The original owner of Mama’s & Papa’s opened it.

I just checked their menu online and they don’t seem to have it anymore, but Papas or Mamas used to have this blacked alligator app that was just crazy good.

Got to get meat pies at Lasyone’s.
I like the Landing’s Bar & food is good there too. The Mariner (bar & grill) extends out onto Sibley Lake as well for a nice view.
And yes for Pioneer.
Also—if you get he late night munchies—French Market meat/crawfish pies

Went to Mayeaux’s last night.... they serve Prime Beef. Very good steakhouse.And I’m a steak snob.
