Rivershack is pretty neat with good bar food but kind of out the way on River Road.

I've always been plastered, but I'm pretty sure I remember the food at Balcony Bar was pretty good. Same goes for Cooters.

Just want to stop in and thank everyone for the suggestions, ended up letting the alcohol take the reins and found a few gems along the way. Ended up at Bennachin for dinner the first night, which was fantastic. Last night was a shitshow, but ended up getting pizza from.... somewhere with a couple Italian-looking bros behind the counter. Have no idea where or what it was called, but unless the alcohol fooled me, the pizza was on point. Lafitte's didn't disappoint, either.

Thanks again

Alcohol became a bigger factor than anticipated. I was pretty happy with the African food. Ever been there?
