I've only been there once... do they have anything good there? My friend said they had a steak so big it covered the whole plate.

Many many years ago, but the place has fallen, about the best they can offer is the fried catfish and a solid breakfest

The steak is very large but not a great cut of meat but filling...The whole catfish is worth the trip...Kind of a cult following....waitresses have been there forever and move at their own pace but they are friendly and know what they are doing...and the beer is cold.

I've been wondering if that place was still open. I spent many Saturday nights there as a kid, staring at the big Bingo-esque waitress tote board and eating buttered saltines while waiting for my seafood platter.

Last time I went I was disappointed. They did something to their fried catfish filets. The breading was sliding off and tasted different.
