Does anyone know if a website exists that offers similar comparisons to beer?

For example, say I wanted some Ghost or Jucifer but they aren't available in my area. However, similar beers I may have never heard of are. Is there a site out there that would tell me what to look for?

I don't know of one site the would give you comparisons/ratings and local availability, but beeradvocate.com has an entire section devoted to styles of beer and the beers are rated within the styles.

I really only use that to track what I’ve had. Does it do a job with comparing beers? May have to explore that.

It gives locally available recommended options based on similarities to your check-ins and location settings. I have found it somewhat useful while traveling. The only “glitch” is that people can create their own check-in locations and the app will recommend a beer that they got in a trade which is not available locally.

I second Beer Advocate. Instragram is also a great resource to know whats coming up. My advice is don’t be afraid to strike out. There is a lot of good beer available. The only way to know what you like is to try a lot.

...You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning.
