Headed to Oxford for the first time for a music festival later this month. Looking for some good bars to throw a few back at while i'm there. Any ideas Ole Miss fans?
I think the festival is on or around campus

Ole Miss fan replies to LSU fan replying to Tennessee fan asking about Oxford bars, while forgetting to add color on the threads original topic - oxford bars.

Roundtable or Soulshine. Soulshine is a pizza place but it's still a good place to drink. I haven't been back to Oxford in over 3 years. But those were the places I always went when I was in town.

On the square (and for the time you’re going to be here), just pick a place. Every restaurant has a bar and they’re all going to be packed and serving full price menues. The best bar tenders on the square in my opinion are at city grocery. Boure has a nice bar area. Rafters and the library if you want the undergrad college scene. I will not be close to the square on that weekend (I work on the square and office closes that Friday) because the insane amount of people that come for double decker make it insufferable. Especially if it’s hot. Oh, and, technically it’s an art festival, not a music festival, so there is plenty of odd people that make their way here.

Not square pizza for a bar. Funkys pizza and daiquiri and library are two most popular bars. Upstairs at boure and city grocery are good. Proud Larry's has a good bar too. Most places have a bar, the ones above are the best. Get there early to get a good spot if you are going for double decker. It gets packed quick, especially if the weather is good
