I'm not a huge fan of Sculpin. I like it, but don't seek it out.

My favorite IPAs are from small breweries, like Parish. GitM is not on that list, but there is no way you can convince me that Gigantic IPA or Deschutes Chainbreaker are better than GitM.

Those 2 IPAs are average, at best.

easier to find around the houston area

The moment Parish starts distributing out of state... you're gonna see Ghost rise to the top of the ranks.

That list has some heavy hitter on it, but putting Bell's two hearted and not Bell's hopslam is a joke.

Negative. Its another bland "balanced" IPA.

Good question. I'm not sure there is one that stands out as better than the rest. But Dankosaurus, community Mosaic, Deep Ellum, 50ft Jack Rabbit, Meta Modern , the new Stash and Buckethead....all are better than Yellow Rose. I haven't had Brash stuff other than Cali Green, but that was good.....so there is no anti Houston feelings here.

I will take a freshly brewed one of these for what $9-10? over a $16.00 6 pack of Scuplin all day every day. I can get week old DE, or Community at 7-11 for a fraction of the price and it will always be better, IMO. Fresh Mosaic is pretty hard to beat in DFW.

There are probably 2-3 beers in every state that are better, more appealing, etc. than nationally distributed beers, even the good ones from Ballast Point, Lagunitas, Bells, etc.
