Anyone familiar with the USV20 unit from Avid Armor for ~$369? Looking to upgrade to a chamber vac without spending $1k+. Also see the size larger USV32 is $599 but wondering is that is worth to step up in price?

I have the USVX. I think it’s about $50 more than the 20. Same size, but is a newer model with several additional features. I can load up 8x10 bags with plenty of food. Can’t do anything long (long sausage links) or large (>5lb roast), but other than that, it’s an awesome. It doesn’t smash soft food, and gets a perfect vac seal on anything from nuts to chicken noodle soup.

After doing a lot more reading, I'm really leaning to the larger USV32 model. I guess I could break up bulk vacs into smaller bags if needed. I just like the idea of being able to use 11" bags.

If you have to guess, how much ground beef can you vac at one time in the USV20?

I was originally looking at the 32 but wound up going with the JVR100. I watched a side by side on YT on the channel Fire and Water. I don’t recall the differences that made me switch but I love my jvr unit. fireandwater is a coupon code for $100 off. It’s also $100 more now than it was for obvious reasons unfortunately. I’d get the biggest unit I wanted to spend on so I can fit the most.
