Attention ALL Blue Bell Ice Cream Lovers...We have a Problem!

I love Blue Bell Ice Cream since I first discovered it some 34 years ago in Houston, Texas when you could not buy it outside of Texas.
I've been to their creamery and have even worked on some projects for them many years back. I'm curious to know if anyone else is seeing more and larger air bubbles in their ice cream? I first noticed small air bubbles about 3 years ago. I believe this is done on purpose to stretch profits. Has anyone else noticed this? Here is one I discovered last week, it's the largest to date. I'm going to write them once I gather more evidence. If you find this please post a picture on this thread so I can use this as additional evidence.

Notice how the large opening is in the bottom. It's just sickening to think corporations would do this just to sneak some extra cash into their pockets. It's like the Chip Bags being pumped with air so you think you are getting a full bag of chips.

They do that so the chips don't get crushed in shipping.

I've been a Blue Bell customer for all of my 26 years and have never encountered this.

I don't eat a lot of it. I would say one gallon every 2 months. And I find this problem in about every 4th purchase on average. Most are much smaller air bubbles then this one. This was the largest I've found.

I used to work for federal milk order USDA.
You are right about the air bubbles.
most ice cream at regular prices is full of air.
I guess you knew that.
life goes on. your once-great favorite product is in the hands of accountants now. Tsk.

That's a fat hand. You're fat and worried about a couple of tablespoon of ice cream that you're missing out on. For shame.

I eat Blue Bell all the time and have NEVER had an issue. Stop hating on the greatest food ever made!

start buying something with suspended solids in it, like Cookies and Cream or Rocky Road. Bubbles don't form as readily (the cookies act as surfactant).
