We have been doing a fair amount of curbside recently and I got to wondering if the items you order online for pick up are priced slightly higher than in store items. Has anyone compared to see if they are the same prices? Not that I truly care, just more interested than anything else.

I don't think so. At least not yet. I use the app/website for a few stores to build a grocery list (for me to shop from in store) and to switch it delivery or curbside, it is just one button and nothing changes in the total.

Some do and some do not. places like Walmart and target use their own people so it is a free service. Publix uses instacart and to pay for this service the items do cost a little more.

Shipt seems to be slightly higher on some things. Not sure if they still are, but we had joined for about a year and it was about $5-10 higher on a $100 or so order.

Albertsons home delivery is via Instacart and curbside is through their store app. $10 cheaper on just five items.

I use Instacart for curbside pickup at Fresh Market and Rouses. I use store apps for curbside at Target, Albertsons, and Walmart. I use InstaSON for Costco (I make my list on Instacart and screen shot and send to son). His fee is whatever he picks up for himself and his wife and I use a cash app to send him the total. I love technology.
