has been injected?

I've heard both. That you should and shouldn't reuse the oil if liquid was injected in the bird.

You can fry 2-3 turkeys in the same oil on the same day. If you want to save it just strain in through coffee filters as you’re pouring it back into the bottle. I’ve done it like this every year for 20 years. I use the same oil for Christmas turkeys then it gets trashed.

Any liquid is going to boil off very quickly, you might have some seasoning in it but most will go to the bottom of the pot. I have a cajun fryer that is extremely easy to save the oil from, some guys even leave their oil in the fryer but I drain and rebottle it.

You're already using a rancid oil that isn't healthy. Does it really matter?
