Shoulder clod can be very good. I know a guy who cooks them and they are delicious. I don't know exactly how he does it, but it's on a pit and whatever seasoning he uses is great.

They don't have as much fat as a brisket but I do like the flavor. Fun to cook too.

Have you had any bodacious lately? We haven't been that way in a year as my father in law is living most of the year in downtown Austin and little time on the farm.

I've only had Bodacious when a friend of mine cooks up a slab of ribs for me. He uses it and their seasoning. His ribs are great. He orders from Bodacious regularly.
