Anyone ever try Body Armor sports drink?

It might be the best sports drink I've ever had. No high fructose corn syrup, and it has a little coconut water. It's definitely worth trying.

I'll give it whirl tomorrow. I drink one of these in the morning, and one at lunch. Don't need to eat until 7 or 8 PM.

Is it an energy drink? Or something like powerade/gatorade?

It's like Gatorade. But it doesn't have an artificial taste. I tried some at work out of a pack from Sam's. So I'm sure it's sold all over the place.
The only time I ever drink energy drink, is with vodka.

You need sugar to rehydrate and give you an energy boost. Very good product and a well run company. Already at 1% of the sports drink market which has never been done before. Much better product for you compared to Gatorade and Powerade.

I mean, sure, in cases of dehydration. However, let's be realistic about a significant portion of the consumption of these drinks though.

Based on?

It's a sports drink which means they are targeting people who work out and get dehydrated....
As far as the product itself it's all natural with no artificial flavoring or sweeteners. Coconut water itself has a ton of sugar in it but that's natural from a coconut and not additive sugars.

Maltodextrin probably isn't what people think of when they think "all natural". That's marketing terminology.

Well, adding that, in and of itself, is "additive sugar" So is adding cane sugar. Also, many of the bottles have up to 9 teaspoons of sugar in them.
Let's face it, this is just another "sports drink". Good marketing though.

I found out about it because my wife drank it to increase breast milk production. Apparently it's a thing. Tastes good to me (the drink, that is)
No pics of wife.

just drink water if you need to "hydrate"
if you like the taste of these drinks then by all means imbibe, but lets not act like theres some benefit to doing so
