Anyone ever smoked beef short ribs?

Got a bunch in the quarter beef I just got and have never cooked them. Was going to try throwing them on my smoker tomorrow. Any helpful tips for cooking these things would be welcome. Thanks.
Edit: my game plan as of now is to smoke then until they hit about 160 or so then wrap them in butcher paper and put back on the smoker until they hit about 205.

Yes, I've smoked them. Salt and pepper. Smoke at 225 to 205

Season with salt, black pepper, maybe garlic flakes. Smoke low temp and slow. Indirect heat, Use hardwood chips or chunks if you like. Check after 2-3 hours and then every so often. Pull at an internal temp of 200 - 205 degrees F. If you like rub (some do), then rub them before smoking. f you like sauce (some do), then sauce them at about 200 degrees F.

Thanks everyone. The suggestions I got are in line with what I was thinking.

I don’t wrap beef ribs. I will wrap with butcher paper for the hold after they are taken off, but I’m not a fan of wrapping during the cook. I do like to dry brine beef ribs the night before.

Those look amazing. Might have to give that one a try. I ended up with a lot of short ribs.

Brisket Rub and cook, over easy egg & polenta.

Hardcore Carnivore Black Rub and cook like a brisket. I always pull at 200 with a 1 hour rest in a cooler. I also wrap with butcher paper around 160 or so.

Franklins video on them is short and simple. It worked for me.
