Hardy har har you can buy sesame seed paste.

You can buy hummus, as well. I watched my gf's dad do it all from scratch (He's from Lebanon/Palestine). The sesame seeds were whole (not hulled), he roasted them, and then grinded them bitches up. His food processor was far better than anything I had at the time. Putting the right amount of olive oil in with the seeds is (again) crucial.
