and you are absolutely correct.

Flank steak in South FL is readily available and priced way too high.

I shopped here for meat when Mrs. House and I lived there.

Doris market

The prices went up a good deal within the few years I was there.

Yeh...like I said earlier....I think skirt and flank prices are inflated in FL. At the local Publix (just a regular grocery store for those of you not familiar with the store) skirt is normally about 9 bucks a pound.

What do you guys pay for skirt in Louisiana?

I'm sure that the large amount of Cubans/Hispanic population we have here drives the demand up for that cut of meat down here because it is so popular in the culture but I'm curious how much of a difference it is.
