Generic reviews from the internet praise it, but my foodie friends from Algiers Point said it was mediocre. I haven't tried it yet myself. Why is there such a dearth of good indian food in NOLA? RIP Peacock in Kenner.
Shyan's in the old Texas BBQ tries, but it's also mediocre. Wah kitchen in Kenner has awesome onion bhaji, but zero atmosphere and odd climate control. I've given up on Taj Mahal on Metarie Road, and Nirvana used to be good when it first opened. Saffron is delicious, but fusiony.
My Indian friends drive to BTR for good food.
