Going tomorrow but thinking of shooting out today as well. So much to try. Lol
Menus sound good and being five times the space should help.
Any favorites?
The chicken skin cracklins I heard were good, as was the chicken from some South Carolina place. I'm sure Willie maes will still have an hour long line.

Went last year. The lines were insanely long. When we finally got to order they were out. Is it still at the square? Seemed it needed a bigger venue

I tried about 10-12 samples. Gus's from Memphis was my favorite, by far.

That name sounded familiar. It was the place my mom used to tell me about when she lived in Memphis.
Wow, that's a heavy competitor. Glad to see so many out of state food places. Gives a nice variety.
Didn't make out today, going tomorrow at noon.

Didn't go but I did live in Memphis for 7 years before moving back to New Orleans. Can vouch for Gus' chicken. Best fried chicken I've had from a restaurant. Might even beat out my Maw Maw's recipe.
