OP never said he wasn’t interested in making his own. Since it’s a food board, I contributed the idea of making your own and included a recipe. Heaven forbid someone shares an idea and a recipe on the food board.
There's nothing for me to own. I was making a small "joke" just in regards to the "oh you want canadian bacon, well first you brine a pork loin for 6 days..."
It wasn't really meant to be taken that serious but I understand you're sensitive since you get dumped on here often.
(though that said, I am a huge fan of your picture and process threads)

I would nominate Canada dry Tonic Water with Gin. Very effective deterrent to Malara. Or at least it keeps you from caring so much.
Also makes a pretty good Vodka Collins, which is a nice coctail to use to get plastered on a day in Canada, or at the beach, or at a beach in Canada.
Required warning to avoid operating boats, airplanes, hellicopters, cars, motorcycles, or other motor driven vehicles after consumption of numerous Vodka Collins drinks. MIght also want to have a walking stick to hold onto while walking. Trust me.
