Right. People here think TJ Ribs is great BBQ for crying out loud.

I did a bunch of take out from there the other day. My verdict was "adequate."
Far from the best BBQ I have had but it was all pretty decent and well received by my family. The brussels sprouts were good and so was the sausage. The brisket was reasonably tender and moist.
I agree with others on this thread that it is not likely you are going to get great BBQ in Baton Rouge, just as it is unlikely you are going to get good gumbo in Los Angeles (actually, you can't get any gumbo at all in Los Angeles).
