I'm assuming this is a somewhat new product because of the low number of reviews but they're mostly positive

LINK

Looks just like a lodge. Not sure who actually makes them...

But they're a good deal so I figured I'd share

Looks exactly like a Lodge... I wonder if it's the exact same thing but with the Amazon branding?

I had thought that. Looks identical to the lodge one I have at home.

AmazonBasics:

Lodge:

These are both from the 4.5-qt. links but I suppose the pictures could be of different sizes because they show the same overview picture for all sizes. I guess they aren't 100% identical, but pretty damn close.

Reading the reviews the only negative I see is they recommend you keep the temp to 400 or below for the oven

I only use it in the oven to braise so shouldn't be an issue for me

Macy's ran a sale earlier this month and had a 6 qt. enameled dutch oven for $49. I forgot about it since I got the flyer a week ahead of the sale and missed it.

A 6 qt. if a good size for some of my cooking needs.

The lodge is listed at $49 for the 6 qt. Amazon is $59 for the 7.5. I will be buying one of these today thanks to this thread. Just need to determine which one.

I use a Lodge 7.5 qt a lot, but I think 90% of what I use it for would also fit in a 6 qt.

Also have one of these guys: Lodge EC3CC43 Enameled Cast Iron Covered Casserole, 3.6-Quart, Island Spice Red that I use so often it just stays on the back of the stove rather than having a place on the shelves.

My le creuset 3.5 stays on my stove at all times. I need something bigger though. I can only make so much in it before it’s full. It’s perfect for small, 2 person stuff though.
