I'll give it a try if given the chance, but there are so many great stouts out there. Hard to imagine Abita made something able to compete with the others.

I'm not Abita fanboy but this is dumb as hell. Is it Bourbon County? No, but what is? Abita absolutely has the ability to make great beer.

I think you missed my point. Maybe not. I suspect it won't be good enough for it to be a regular buy for myself seeing as there are already so many great stouts/imperial stouts out there. Doesn't mean it won't be good. But I doubt I will ever pull the trigger if it is sitting on a shelf with Founders Breakfast Stout, Ten Fidy, etc.

And both of those beers are very different from this one. I don't always want the coffee I get from FBS. Sometimes I want a barrel aged flavor, and this meets that craving.
